About Me

My name is Natalie and I am an Occupational Therapist, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Child Passenger Safety Technician with an unwavering passion for helping caregivers navigate the challenges and self doubt that has a way of accompanying the early days of parenthood. My 7+ years as an occupational therapist have all been spent serving pediatric populations across a variety of settings, but I found my true passion when I became a mother myself.

This was when I realized that my lifelong love of infants and children was actually a passion for the experience of motherhood. Soon after I entered motherhood in 2019, my friends and family members joined me on the journey, and it was then that I quickly realized a significant challenge; the lack of available resources to help new caregivers navigate this life changing event after coming home with their new baby/babies.

My professional experiences in pediatrics, personal experiences navigating my own transition to motherhood of a singleton and then two (yes, two!) sets of twins in under 5 years, combined with my additional specialized trainings, afford me the ability to confidently fill my roll as a professional provider to you and your family as you transition through the stages of early parenthood. In addition to receiving my Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toledo in 2017, I have also obtained my Certified Breastfeeding Specialist credential through Lactation Education Resources, and my Child Passenger Safety Technician credential through Safe Kids Worldwide. You can also find me on the registries with Feed the Peds and Solid Starts as I have fine tuned my infant and pediatric feeding expertise by completing extensive coursework through each of these organizations and joining their community of professionals.

Each family unit has their own unique set of strengths, challenges, and goals and I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should have access to individualized professional resources that support both the caregivers growth in their new role, as well as the child’s growth and development.

I look forward to being a resource in our community and working with you and your family to meet your goals!

Testimonials

  • Transitioning to motherhood is difficult. Add postpartum depression and anxiety to it and I was a mess. Natalie was a huge help and I could ask her any question, even if it felt ridiculous. She was always understanding, never judgmental, and constantly reminded me that I was doing all the right things to be a good mom. Specifically, I had a very hard time with breastfeeding and ultimately ended up pumping exclusively and supplementing with formula. She helped with all of my concerns from when to pump, how long, how to take care of clogs, how to increase supply, which pumps worked best for what purposes, and so so much more.

  • I honestly can't say enough good things about Natalie. She came to our home and was super helpful with everything breastfeeding-related. She made the whole process a breeze, and her advice was simple to follow. I was initially relying on Google for breastfeeding advice and I had it all wrong. On top of that, she was really patient and kind, which made all the difference when we were feeling overwhelmed. The best part; she kept checking in on us afterward to make sure we were doing okay. It felt great knowing she truly cared and was there if we needed additional help. If you're looking for someone who's knowledgeable, supportive, and goes the extra mile for mommas, I definitely recommend her.

  • This past April, I gave birth to my son, Calvin. As all moms know, there is nothing like the feeling of leaving the hospital with your first baby. It’s one of the most exciting, yet vulnerable experiences, and having a strong support system makes all the difference in the world. Natalie has been a huge part of my support system postpartum. She has helped me navigate the challenges of recovery, breastfeeding, coping with feelings of isolation, and more. Her education on car seat safety, developmental milestones, and now introducing solids has been so helpful. Natalie uses a nonjudgmental approach and has assured me that there is no such thing as a silly question when it comes to navigating life with a newborn. She respects individual choices and meets mom and family where they are at. If you are looking for postpartum support on any of the services offered, Natalie is the person to go to!
